Share Creative Histories Creative Group Outcome
Please note this is a ‘living’ document that may evolve, develop and be refined throughout the next few weeks. As the development of your work occurs you can add or edit as you go along. You do though need to stick with your original point of departure. This is handed in and assessed on Mon Oct 19th as part of your proposal and pitch session. With additions/developments your group hands this in again at the end of the course as reference for assessing your outcome.

Series of photographs that will help inspire people to do more than react, but rather act positively towards scandal happening in our community, thus helping project the positive potential of the community in the future.
Describe in two or three sentences your conceptual angle or ‘take’ on this topic
Create a series of photographs of scandal happening in the community with written recordings of reactions and feelings of people that see them. As we make aware the local scandals in the community to do with issues such as poverty and violence, we hope to help people take action in a positive way; taking a negative issue and creating a positive outcome by doing more good service in the community.
The intention of our work is to
help people act upon the reactions that they have to scandal that they see in the community, through positive service.
We’ve experienced that when we do see scandal, we feel prompted to do something for only a short while, the prompting to help change the negative situation leaving us as soon as we received it. We know that our thoughts lead to words, our words lead to action and actions make up our character. So our intention is to help be a catalyst in creative positive characters in the community by helping people to adopt the motto that we’ve come up with which is ‘if you don’t see good than DO GOOD’ as well as ‘do more than react. ACT’
Plan
We plan to make (say what you envisage your end product will be)
Everyone in our group will be photographing the different scandals that we see in our daily lives, which we will then collect all together. we then will filter through the photos, picking the best 4 to edit and place up around the MIT campus.
We then will have a “reaction paper” that will have the questions:
1. One word that describes your first reaction to the photo
2. What are you going to do now about it?
we will then make posters with both the photo and the reactions next to them which we will place around the campus in the hopes of having people be reminded to spread good in the community.
